Hosting and external resources

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Your browser connects to GitHub to load its pages and to retrieve the public citation-metrics data displayed on the homepage. Some supporting resources are loaded from external content delivery services. These requests disclose ordinary connection information, including your IP address, to the service receiving them. See GitHub’s Privacy Statement for its practices.

Visitor map

The published website loads MapMyVisitors on each page to record visits and display the map on the Visitors page. Loading the widget connects your browser to MapMyVisitors, which receives your IP address and request information. The geographic locations shown on the map are approximate, not precise physical locations.

The map and its statistics are provided by MapMyVisitors. This website does not set the provider’s data-retention practices. Browser privacy settings, blocked scripts, or service availability may affect which visits appear.

Links and contact

Links to publications, universities, Google Scholar, LinkedIn, and other external websites are governed by those services’ own privacy practices when you visit them. The email link opens your email application; this website does not have a contact form or a comments service.
